Who's Connected to My AFP Share?

Question

How can you tell who has your drives mounted? I work at a small company and we have alot of external drives on differnt computer. To work on something we mount all the drive you need and work, However if you have to restart or shut down you have you call all the other users and see if they are using your drives, is there a program or something that can tell you who is using your drives?

Mac OS X Server does this, but that shouldn’t be a surprise. The question is how to do this on a desktop Mac, and there’s an answer: AFS Monitor.

Install Sharepoints and turn on logging and then run AFS Monitor and it will give you the information you need by skimming that logfile.
