Hello all,

I’m a noob and managed to hide a folder I didn’t want the kids to see, but now that I want to access/delete it, can’t remember how I did it or how to unhide it….keep in mind, I’m a noob, so I would’ve done this through a GUI and NOT by inputting code….can’t remember if the GUI was Apple or a download.

It’s been awhile since I hid the folder and the only reason I was reminded it was there was I ran “WhatSize” to see what was taking up space on my HDD so that I could delete some unused files, and WhatSize sees everything, including hidden folders…but my Finder is disavowing any knowledge of the folder….so, I know it’s there, I just can’t get to it.

Any help…on how to unhide the folder, or find out if there is a program I downloaded (either visible or running stealthily in the background) that may be hiding the folder at my (long ago) request…would be greatly appreciated.
