apple remote

hi

I had my mac mini on sleep mode and I tried to wake it up as I use to with the apple remote but it didn’t work.

and the thing is that I also had my macbook pro 1,5m from the mac mini and it was running.

could it be a conflict with the macbook pro and the mini? the mbp was up and running and the mac mini was in sleep mode.

any ideas?

Apple Remote can work fine with Mac mini. To allow Apple Remote Desktop to give your Mac mini a wake up call, you should be sure to use the computer’s primary Ethernet port.
