What is Mac Geekery?
Mac Geekery is a place where more advanced users of the Macintosh hardware platform can get together and share tips, hacks, and generally arcane things without fear of the user level of the recipients. If you have an article you’ve been dying to write up but can’t “dumb it down” enough to be mainstream, post it as-is here.

How do I contribute?
One of two ways:
- Post a story. Click on “Create content” and choose “story” and paste in your finished article. Admins will review the entry for, for lack of a better term, “geekiness” and post it if it uses proper English, lacks significant typos, and seems professional. Otherwise it gets dumped.
- Post a blog entry and PM an author. If you post the entry as a blog entry it will hang around forever on Mac Geekery, regardless of quality. If you feel it’s front page material, send a private message to anyone you see on the front page (macgeek, jc, and codepoet mainly) and ask for a review. If accepted the entry will appear on the front page as well as in your blog. This is the preferred method of posting an article. In fact, you can post most any technical tip you want to your blog and when you stumble upon a good one, just let us know.
